Caption It: Belly Flop

by in Food Network Star, July 10, 2014

Food Network Star, Season 10In just a few short weeks, Lenny's proven himself one to make a splash on camera for the good of the competition. Given the sneak-peek photo above from Sunday's all-new episode of Food Network Star, it seems as though he's continuing to live up to that reputation as he's shown mid-fall during a belly flop at the Caesars Palace pool.

What do you think could have prompted Lenny's wave-making demonstration? Is this flop somehow related to Sunday's challenge, and will other finalists join in showing off their pool tricks, with fearless cannonballs, handstands and somersaults on display?

Before you tune in on Sunday at 9|8c to find out what's going on here, we’re challenging you, Star fans, to write your best captions (tastefully appropriate, please) for this waterworks moment in the comments below.

Tune in to a brand-new episode of Food Network Star on Sunday, July 13 at 9|8c.

I personally think this is the worse season ever. There is usually one or two contestants each season that I don't care for, This season there are hardly any that I would watch. The mentors have talked about credibility and yet they have a "cartoon cowboy" competing. If he actually won I'm not sure there is enough money that could make me watch him. As it is, whenever he speaks, I mute the volume. What a shame, the last few years there were so many good challengers and this year, they have really hit rock bottom.

Lenny, just before his belt buckle drags him to the bottom of the pool.

  3. Betsy S says:

Sorry, I would never watch a show with Lenny as the chef. He's just too much and tries too hard to be too much. A total jerk, and the belly flop only confirms that.

  4. Atha Dickenson says:

I am concerned that someone like Lenny is one of the finalists for the Next Food Network Star. Perhaps his "ham acts" tickle the fancy of New Yorkers but I find him to be crude and rude. I also would never watch him if he has a program.

I liked all three pilot's on the show. I think that Lenny has a certain style of cooking that food network has not seen yet. I would watch him everyday and love every show he did. You would benefit from him winning because he is funny, talented, and knows how to cook. My kids laughed at him so hard it wasn't funny when he did the belly flop.. That is what a food network star is!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. He has advanced spiritually and is now levitating over the pool.
