Daniela Perez-Reyes, Danushka Lysek and Andres GuillamaFor Damaris, Rodney and Russell, this Sunday night will surely prove to be one of the most defining moments of their lives so far. One will ultimately accept the job of Food Network personality, while two others will leave empty-handed, their dreams of stardom only a memory. What can you expect from Sunday's Star finale? A committee of network stars ready to welcome the winner to the family to be sure, plus a few surprise appearances from past finalists.

Take a look at the sneak-peek photo above from the episode. Daniela, Danushka and Andres, the first three rivals eliminated from the competition, are caught up in a giggle fit during taping. What do you think has these three in the throes of laughter? Are they reliving particularly funny moments from their time on the show, or are they snickering at the situation unfolding around them?

Before you tune in this Sunday at 9pm/8c to find out who you, Star fans, have chosen as the winner, we’re challenging you to write your best captions (tastefully appropriate, please) for this moment in the comments below. Pie style is as bad or worse than Sandwich King

    • @calpolymom says:

At least Jeff Mauro is cute, funny and we can understand what he's saying! Pie Man has none of his charisma.

    • Shannon says:

I like Jeff Mauro, he is entertaining. His recipes are not bad by the way. He also teaches techniques that do not necessarily have to be made "into a sandwich". He makes things that are outside of the box and innovative. Just sayin'. I was not sold on the "sandwich king" concept but he won me over after I gave his show a chance. Granted his techniques are not difficult and his recipes are easy but he is good for novice cooks.

    • steve says:

Rodney's pie-style involved adding a couple cups of flour and 1 1/4 cup of shortening to recipes - 1/3 c. flour and 1/4 cup shortening per serving. 2 slices of bread works better for me.

  2. RickO says:

it just gives the hosts of the show more air time

  3. rroyster says:

Danushka (laughing): You mean this country really doesn't like me? LOL! How silly!

  4. James hogg says:

Damaris quipps," Look at this picture carefully, A rose between two thorns!'

  5. John T. says:

OMG! That was the winning recipe!?

    • i robot says:

It was cajun cavier pie, pickled in vinegar, with bourbon sauce.
But hey!--it was "original." (cough, cough)

  6. guest says:

They are laughing and the audience is just roaring excitedly. Damaris was announced as the winner. Bob Tuschman asks her: "So, now that you've won, what are your immediate plans?" Damaris has a big smile. She looks Tuschman right in the eyes, gives him a wink and says: "Sweetheart, I'm gonna cook my A** off!" The audience erupts into wild cheers!

    • jbm says:

She's got a big enough ass that would need some major cooking to get smaller. Geesh, I sure hope we don't truly have another Southern twirp of a female as a winner. Didn't the network learn anything with P Deen? Pleeze! The final contestants are all so incredibly weak in performance, persona, and culinary talent that it is truly sad to even witness this contest. The pie idea is a good one- novel at that, but Rodney is so unrefined and offensive with his verbal skills- YUCK. Russel- requires a complete makeover- no he requires hair- his retro style is so old and used, it's just a pure distraction; and his culinary sins include his mohawk! EEEEEK! Please let others into this contest that can truly wow us from the get go. Bob Tuschman needs to be educated on his selections.

      • Marsha says:

What a lousy post. Nothing about who is positive, or better.

      • Eric Cartman says:

Dude, yer just freakin' mad at the world. Are you like, a P.O.'d Stacey fan? Chill out.

        • jbm says:

CORRECTION: JUST MAD ABOUT THE FOODNETWORK'S SELECTION OF CONTESTANTS. eVERYONE IS ENTITLED TO THEIR OPINION- JUST CHILLING ERIC!! WE ARE ENTITLED TO A VOICE IN THIS CONTEST.

          • MoHub says:

Personal attacks on a contestant's appearance do not constitute a valid opinion regarding the person's skills. I suppose you have ugly things to say about everyone who doesn't fit your ideal of physical beauty.

      • Janelle says:

One look at how pretty she is in the winning pic on Sarah's other thread, and no one will worry about her butt.

  7. hipster says:

WOO-HOO! Go Giada! It's her they are laughing at. She just stood up out of her chair, faced Damaris and said: You're not the only one who can shimmy around here.

    The she did a wiggle.

  8. Maple Barr says:

Everyone just took a bite of dessert in celebration of the winner.
But it turned out to be more of Lovely's inedible donut-balls.

  9. dorothy says:
