Finally. Thanks, Sarah. Those recipes had been buried away where hardly anyone could find them.

Got it bookmarked. Thanks, again, Sarah :) Do you pick which recipes to highlight by yourself, or is there input from others?

  2. BillO says:

Have any of you tried these recipes? I only see 4 reviews and one is mine. Of the other three, I can only tell for sure that one actually made the dish. Nikki's chili, btw, looks pretty similar to Guy's Dragon Breath Chili, which is my favorite chili. Except she leaves out the meat.

If I'm going to add chocolate to my popcorn, I prefer it with a dark chocolate/almonds/coconut twist. This provides more interesting texture and depth of flavors than s'mores.

As for burgers, Russell's creation is big on bold flavors to be sure. But there's no contrast in textures or colors, nothing cool or crisp to offset the meat, booze, Dijon mustard and cooked onions. And given that it's intended to be messy, there are limitations to serving it at certain gatherings. Kudos for the boldness, though.

Great insight. This isn't your first rodeo, apparently. Are you available as a contestant for Season 10?

  4. msjs0315 says:

No way you'll find me racing around a kitchen in some timed contest trying to make a meal out of someone else's ingredients, BillO. That's not my idea of cooking. Besides, I'd break every camera lens in the studio.

One that is missing is Viet's potato that has chicken soup inside of the potato puff. Now that one is really interesting, and would love to know how to make it

If the Food Network is going to fire Paula Deen then they also need to fire Anne Burrell, who was sued for sexual discrimination. They would also need to fire Chef Cat Cora, who was arrested for DUI with a blood alcohol level 3 times the legal limit and screamed profanities at people. Dinner Impossible's Robert Irvine was caught lying about his background when he stated he used to cook for the Royal family when, in fact, he did not. Iron Chef Bobby Flay was sued and settled for nearly $1 million because he kept tips from his employees and also cheated on both of his wives. Iron Chef Morimoto was sued for skimming tips from his employees and not paying them properly. Food Network Chef Geoffrey Zakarian filed bankruptcy to avoid a lawsuit - 152 of his disgruntled employees sued him. Chef Juan Carlos Cruz hired a homeless man to kill his wife. Chef Ina Rosengarten, The Barefoot Contessa, refused to meet with a child who was dying of cancer. Chef Guy Fieri has been accused of sexually harassing women and has asked his producers to warn him in advance if he has to tape his show, Diners Drive-ins and Dives, with restaurant owners who are gay. Jeff Frugal Gourmet Smith sexually abused men. And these people mentioned above still have their jobs, even though their "sins" all occurred within the past few years. None of us are who we were 25 or 30 years ago, and that is the beauty of self-growth

    • BillO says:

Nice research job. And I'm sure FN won't deal with any of that. I believe dthe Bardfoot Contessa's name is Ina Garten. Her husband is Jeffrey Garten. Her maiden name is Rosenberg

    • msjs0315 says:

FYI, Jeff Smith died in 2004. Juan Carlos Cruz was no longer with FN when he was sentenced in 2010.

    • Roz says:

Very interesting, I will support Paula, she should not be judged by todays standards for something that occurred 27 years ago. She should be applauded for having the courage to tell the truth when most people would have easily lied. Shame on her so called Friends at FN who are not coming to her defense now when she needs her friends the most.

Is it possible to get the recipe for BBQ veggie sandwich from the Live 4th of July episode?

  9. Marsha says:

None is as good as Paula Deen's was.If you fire her you need to fire the others that has done wrong.Also.Fair is fair. You are going to lose alot of people that use to watch your show because of her. Most people loved her better than anyone else.I no I did and I will not be watching your show any more because of it.It is not right what you did to her and not to the others.I pray that people stop watching your shows not more than ever because of what you did to her.

  10. ZackyWacky says:

I am not watching FN anymore. I was a big fan, but you shall feel our retribution for your actions.
