This week’s episode featured two Food Network superstars: the queen of 30 Minute Meals, Rachael Ray, and the Barefoot Contessa herself, Ina Garten. Needless to say, it was an intimidating double-whammy for the finalists. Whitney got so emotional upon seeing Ina – the woman who taught her to cook – that she burst into tears. Susie wanted so badly to impress and emulate Rachael that she let her nerves get the better of her.

I agree that Ina looks really fat. If her fat is that fat, imagine what the rest of her body must look like.

  2. Jose says:

If FN can edit out Susie's blunders on the last episode, they least they can do is to airbrush Ina so she doesn't look so fat.

Is that pot used to catch the sweat dripping off of Ina's four chins?

Both ladies seem like they would be fun to be around. Rachel has a great personality but not once have I been inclined to try one of her recipes though I have used some of her tips. I have tried quite a few of Ina’s dishes and also have used some of her tips. I think they are both successful because they have very distinct POV’s and cook a variety of food. I’ll tell you what I’d really like. I’d like to be in Ina’s garden sipping wine while both of them cooked for me! Sort of like a mini Chopped challenge. I’d tell them the ingredients I like, chicken, shrimp, pasta, lemon, lavender, chocolate and have them both bring me a small appetizer, entrée and dessert each and we’d all sit down together and eat.
