In Episode 6, Bobby gets in the gym with his pal and fellow Iron Chef, Michael Symon. Even though Bobby likes cardio and Michael prefers lifting weights, when the two friends exercise together, they learn new routines from one another that they can incorporate into their individual workouts.
After the gym, Bobby and Michael take to the kitchen to whip up a healthy post-workout meal of grilled lamb with quinoa salad.

The focus of Episode 5 of Bobby Flay Fit is inspiration: Dig deep to find inspiration in both work and play to keep yourself motivated to continue your healthy lifestyle.

In Episode 5, Bobby, his wife, Stephanie, and friend Katie Lee head to a SoulCycle class, led by instructor Laurie. The camaraderie of the group class and the motivation from the teacher is what Bobby finds inspiring. He likes cycling because it’s a fun and challenging workout, but it’s low-impact so it’s easy on his knees and ankles — a nice break from all the running he does.

But after all of their hard work, Bobby and Katie get in the kitchen to cook brunch together: oatmeal pancakes, open-faced egg sandwiches, sangria and spiced, baked grapefruit.
