Kids need a balanced diet - they can have these treats in moderation and still be healthy children. My children are active and get a combination of fun treats and healthy food. We cook mainly from scratch and my kids do eat fresh fruits and veggies everyday, but I do allow some fun yogurt and granola bars (plenty don't have chocolate in them by the way) - you are not killing them. Letting them eat huge adult size portions of food, soft drinks, fast food dinners and empty calorie chips are doing much more harm than kid's yogurts and granola bars people - my kids don't get these types of things.
