I always make my husband's favorite dish for father's day, brasciole with mashed potatoes and gravy. Usually add corn muffins and a fruit salad and of course-ice cream milkshakes for dessert (strawberry for him & chocolate oreo for my son.)

He's Polish, so stuffed cabage would be the ultimate thing to make for him! But he's happy with pork chops or BBQ'd chicken. He's not the big steak fan that I am, so we save that for Mother's Day!

My dad loves NACHOS. I have been trying to convert him to the healthy eating side but he is persistent on staying on the dark side. I bake his nachos and put lots of veggies and spinach and flax seed chips instead of tortilla ones!

My favorite thing to cook for Dad is pie. He always enjoys it and asks for more for holidays and his birthday.

Omaha Steaks succulent Oven Roasted Chicken Breasts make my Daddy's favorite dish…which he calls, simply, "Chicken GOOD". The Omaha roasting technique of their chicken creates the perfect base to be covered with my cream chicken soup, little touch of Hellman's, Shredded Cheddar Cheese, Broccoli, and white wine sauce! A topping crust of Italian Seasoned Bread Crumbs that have been stirred in melted butter and another splash of the "vino", will make my World War II Navy Hard Hat Diver Dad blessed for the rest of his afternoon Honors! And, we TEXANS owe it all to our good friends from the land of plenty…Omaha!!!!
