Bobby Flay Fit Bobby Flay manages to stay fit and healthy even with a busy lifestyle as a chef, and he’s eager to share his healthy eating and fitness plan with fans in a seven-part Web series, Bobby Flay Fit.


The focus of Episode 3 is mixing it up: It’s easy to get bored with your exercise routine. That’s why it’s important to mix it up, try something new and get out of your comfort zone.

In Episode 3 of Bobby Flay Fit, Bobby and his pal, Iron Chef Michael Symon, get together in the gym to try some new exercises. Bobby isn’t as familiar with weight training, so Michael shows him some techniques to mix things up a bit. On the way to the gym, they share a healthy snack that Bobby made — Chocolate-Coconut Granola.

    That type of slow weight lifting does nothing for you. The concentric portion of an excercise should be faster and the eccentric portion slower and more controlled. Aslo Michael Symon looks like he has never touched a weight so I'm not sure it is a good idea to take strength training advice from him. Just my opinion.

    since your schedule is so busy why don't you and Michael Symon try CrossFit! It's much better than the weight training Michael Symon was teaching you and easier to learn. If you combine CrossFit with the cardio that you are doing now you will really like looking in the mirror and be the Fittest you have ever been :) Check it out! I am sure there are CrossFit gyms in NYC maybe even in the Reebok gym where you and Michael Symon recorded the video. Try it you'll get hooked!
