We live on a remote farm, and I have absolutely no experience with preserving. Lemons, Oranges and grapes in abundance. 'Water blommetjies' and all kinds of herb, Growing for the kitchen bitternut, beet, gems and trying potato and garlic. So far have only tried lemon syrup. So this book will help tremendously.
There is so much I would like to can, if I could just get over my fear! Recently I saw a recipe for applesauce mixed with other fruits – I would love to start with that!
