TELL US: What’s your favorite way to eat summer tomatoes?

Eating healthy has more to do with common sense than anything else. It is very simple.
Well, my faves are greek salad with lots of tomato. Tomato cucumber/salads and bacon/tomato sandwiches. Problem is, I can't eat too many tomatoes. I'm allergic. I can get away with a little tomato every few days, but if I eat tomato everyday? Giant, baseball size hives. NOT attractive!
Don't forget a cooked tomato with an English breakfast… Or does that not count because it's unhealthy? :p
Bruschetta with Tomato Marmelade atop paper thin slices of Country Ham (delicious barbecued on a hickory pit), Tennessee Tomato Pie. And my friend Stella Parton makes Stewed Tomatoes with Dill Dumplins that are among her sister, Dolly's, favorites.
Sesame seed or pumpkin seed Ryvita spread with thin layer of salad cream, topped with big juicy slices of sun ripened beef tomatoes and seasoned with rock salt and ground black pepper -addictive!
You caneatum with eggs, eatum with gravy, eatum with beans, pinto or navy.there aint nothin in tha worldmthat a like better is bacon and eggs and homegrown tomaters..
This may sound unappealing to some of you until you try it. It never sounding unappealing to me because I was just a kid and didn't know any better when I had my first one. Toast two slices of your favourite bread, I like to use a denser multigrain one, dry no butter or that other stuff, but Cheeze Whiz and a thick slice of a garden ripe fresh Beefstake. My mouth is watering. ENJOY. Try it and tell me what you think. Thanks for reading. Lyle
