Win These FishClips!

Fish clips
These cute (and practical!) clips could be yours.

Throw away the over-used rubber bands and clothes pins that are keeping your bags shut and keep food fresh for longer with FishClips by Shrockie. These colorful fish use a “grab and squeeze” mechanism to clamp on tight. Any size bag fits in the strong grip, and it won’t let go until you press the fin to release the fish’s killer jaws.

“I actually made the clip because I couldn’t find a good clip to seal my frozen corn,” says creator Joel Shrock.

When you’re not using them, FishClips are a fun addition to any fridge thanks to the magnet attached at the back.

You can buy your own FishClips or enter in the comments for a chance to win one. Just let us know, in the comments, how you’ll put FishClips to use.  The contest starts at 10:00 a.m. EST today, and ends on Friday, June 22 at 5 p.m. EST.

We’re giving away one 3-pack of FishClips by Shrockie to 12 lucky, randomly-selected commenters. You must include your email address in the “Email” field when submitting your comment so we can communicate with you if you’re a winner.

You may only comment once to be considered and you don’t have to purchase anything to win; a purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Odds depend on total number of entries. Void where prohibited. Only open to legal residents of 50 U.S. states, D.C. or Puerto Rico, and you must be at least 18 to win. For the first day of the giveaway, all entries (answers) must be entered between 10:00 a.m. EST on June 20 and 5 p.m. EST on June 22, 2012. Subject to full official rules. By leaving a comment on the blog, you acknowledge your acceptance to the Official Rules. ARV of each prize: $6.99. Sponsor: Scripps Networks, LLC, d/b/a Food Network, 9721 Sherrill Blvd, Knoxville, TN 37932.

So tell us, how will you put FishClips to use?

You can't even begin to emagine how many uses there are to the "Fish Clip". I have tons of loose wires under my desk at work and brought one in to work and with one snap, clipped them together. No more wires getting in my way at work. They are perfect for everything!!

I am a music teacher and I play the flute with a concert band during the summer. These would be great to hold my music down to my magnetic stand or for use in the classroom. Perhaps a triangle holder? :)
