I like the idea of healthy high energy snacks. It's also helpful that they are easy to prepare, as my son and I don't cook well. It's good too, that they are quick snacks. He and I have a full schedule, cramming as much as we can into a very short summer vacation from school. Thanks for posting these. We'll try the pinwheels, for sure. My son loves frozen grapes and ice pops, especially. Me, I'll go for almost anything with the word "pizza" in it's name.

The pinwheels I have been making for some time now except I add chopped olives and sometimes I use spinach and whole wheat wraps, I chop the ham too. I like honey ham the best.

  6. Those recipe I prepared for my kids. They loved it. My daughter told me it is very delicious. She's excited to have this for school's lunch.

I've already been doing most of these (they are great) and look forward to additional ideas in the future. Coming up with new ideas on my own has become quite a challenge. My kids do love when I give them a piece of rolled up low-sodium ham or turkey, pretzels with hummus, red/yellow bell pepper strips and grape tomatoes. They also love greek yogurt and fruit for dessert or snack.
