Mayo
Replace artery-clogging mayo on your favorite sandwich with this avocado-based spread. It’s also a perfect accompaniment to sashimi or a tasty dip for rice crackers.

Asian Avo “Mayo”

Makes 3/4 cup
Start to finish: 10 minutes

1 ripe Hass avocado, coarsely chopped
3 tablespoons warm water
2 1/2 teaspoons rice vinegar
2 teaspoons chopped pickled sushi ginger
1 teaspoon low-sodium soy sauce
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame oil

Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor or blender and puree until smooth. Transfer to a small jar and refrigerate. Keeps refrigerated for 2 days.

    Thanks for the recipe idea. Avocado is quite an expensive fruit to buy where I live but it's always worth it, if only for the delicious spread/dip you can make from it. I'm also glad you distinguished between the (large amounts of) healthy fats contained in avocados, and the unhealthy fats contained in non-natural foods.

    Here is what I do three times a week.

    I open up the avocado and divide it. I take out the seed and put a tablespoon of unpasteurized honey and eat it from there. Rose Mary

Many of the channel's personalities routinely pull double duty hosting both daytime and nighttime programming and the channel regularly offers specials which typically either follow its personalities on working vacations, or bring together a number of personalities for a themed cooking event.
