Win This Cookbook: Clean Start by Victoria Phillips in Giveaway, December 21, 2011

“Clean Start is about enjoying healthy, delicious, clean food every day,” best-selling author Terry Walters says. “It’s about having a relationship with food that’s not based on living up to somebody else’s ideal, or following a strict regimen.”
Just in time for the new year, Clean Start features easy recipes that follow the color of the rainbow and involve “all five tastes” — sweet, sour, salty, bitter and pungent. Green fries made of green beans, Pumpkin Spice Muffins and Ginger Shiitake Soup with Cabbage and Edamame Beans are just are a few of the 100 recipes featured.
You can buy your own copy of Clean Start or enter in the comments for a chance to win your own. Just let us know, in the comments, your New Year’s resolution. The contest starts at 9:30 a.m. EST today, and ends on Friday, December 23 at 5 p.m. EST.
We’re giving one copy away to one very lucky, randomly selected commenter. You must include your email address in the “Email” field when submitting your comment so we can communicate with you if you’re a winner.
You may only comment once to be considered and you don’t have to purchase anything to win; a purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Odds depend on total number of entries. Void where prohibited. Only open to legal residents of 50 U.S. states, D.C. or Puerto Rico, and you must be at least 18 to win. For the first day of the giveaway, all entries (answers) must be entered between 9:30 a.m. EST on December 21 and 5 p.m. EST on December 23. Subject to full official rules. By leaving a comment on the blog, you acknowledge your acceptance to the Official Rules. ARV of each prize: $25.00. So tell us, what is your New Year’s resolution?

I am 56 and want to be healthy enough to enjoy the rest of my life, without high blood pressure, without excess weight and without diabetes! I know that what I eat will determine the condition of my body and I need this book!!
Just to be more healthy and strive to eat a healthier diet…everything in moderation…is so important.
I am always in a hurry, so I buy the same old stuff at the grocery store and eat the same old, high fat, high calorie, boring meals. It seems like it takes less time than trying something fun and new. This cook books sounds like just the thing to get me on a better, healthier track in the new year!
I must say that choosing a meatless/plant-based lifestyle 4 months ago is one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life….I will continue this choice thru the coming year and hopefully the rest of my life……In addition, I plan to incorporate yoga to strengthen my body and support my mind and soul……Happy New Year to All!!!!
My 2012 Resolution will be to add more excercise into my weeks and to begin cooking again. The Clean Start cookbook would assist with this immensly!
I would love to start regular juicing….green juices are so full of healthy goodness!
To start making more recipes from scratch and using more whole foods instead of simply buying quick prepackaged meals.
