This could be yours.

Brown Bag ChallengeWe’re teaming up with fellow food bloggers to host a Brown-Bag Challenge, a month-long initiative to eat consciously and save money by packing a lunch each weekday instead of eating out. Join us here and share what you’re eating on Facebook and Twitter with the hashtag #brownbag.

Our Brown-Bag Challenge is winding down, there’s just one week to go. Think you’ll make it to the end? Would a fancy new bento box keep you motivated? You can buy your own, or you can tell us about your lunch here for a chance to win one. Either way, when you get it, you can fill it with salad, pasta, stir-fry or even sushi. It’s easy to tote and it won’t take up a lot of room in the office ‘fridge and you can clip your fork (or chopsticks) to the top. It’s microwave and dishwasher safe, and BPA free.

Want one?

Just let us know, in the comments, what you brought for your brown-bag lunch today. The contest starts at 10 a.m. EST today, and ends on Monday, September 26 at 10 a.m. EST.

You may only comment once to be considered and you don’t have to purchase anything to win; a purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Odds depend on total number of entries. Void where prohibited. Only open to legal residents of 50 U.S. states, D.C. or Puerto Rico, and you must be at least 18 to win. For the first day of the giveaway, all entries (answers) must be entered between 10 a.m. EST on September 23 and 10 a.m. EST on September 26. Subject to full official rules. By leaving a comment on the blog, you acknowledge your acceptance to the Official Rules. ARV of each prize: $22.00. Sponsor: Scripps Networks, LLC, d/b/a Food Network, 9721 Sherrill Blvd, Knoxville, TN 37932

My lunch today was a chicken florentine sandwich with sour cream and onion chips. Winning the bento box would inspire me to bring home made lunches to work with me instead of frozen meals.

I packed my lunch for tomorrow. Bibimbap, a great way to use up the leftovers from a weekend Korean BBQ. Marinated Spinach, burdock root, bean sprouts, carrots, a little sliced marinated beef all over rice and topped with kochujang-sesame oil. MMMMM so good. I can't wait for lunch tomorrow.

  9. My fave brown bag lunch so far this month was Inside Out Chicken Egg Rolls. Second fave – gourmet grilled cheese with Brie, Apricots and Almonds. Both were totally delicious and way better than the fast food alternatives!

  10. Michelle says:

Greek yogurt with added (frozen) blueberries, red bell peppers and a Fiber One 90 bar !
