It’s a brown-bag challenge in name only, we don’t actually expect everyone to tote their lunches in a paper sack each day. It’s fine if you do, but don’t you want to carry your healthy lunch fare in something cute, compact and washable? Of course you do. And now, you have a chance to win this adorable lunch pot from black+blum.
black+blum’s latest lunch-carrying contraption consists of two pots that lock together with a watertight seal. This allows you to pack yogurt and granola separately for a noontime parfait. You can pack a grain salad and a fruit salad right on top of each other, without worrying about the juices of one running into the other. big salad – canned tuna mixed with cumin and dill, avocado, tomato, black beans, hard boiled eggs, vidalia onion and spinach greens sprinkled with macadamia nut oil and lemon juice! so yummy
salad with no lettuce – couscous with grilled corn, parsley, lemon and a drizzle of olive oil. ive been waiting since last night to open my "brown bag." quick to make and probably even quicker to eat!
I brought a Bean Burrito: whole wheat tortilla, refried beans with cumin, cheese, fresh corn, avocado, tomato, and arugula. Plus, a plum and nectarine for a mid-morning snack!
I need all the help I can get! What a great product for taking lunch to work!
Today is a sandwich and chips but I'm going to work on getting more creative!
I brought homemade enchilada casserole with beans, tortillas and chicken. I also brought cut strawberries and peaches! Yum!
Salad–romaine lettuce, fresh garden tomatoes, banana pepper, shredded cheese, topped with a hamburger, and served with sugar free jello.
Friday leftovers: grilled spicy Italian (turkey) sausage and an apple. Time to go grocery shopping after Sunday coupon clipping and stock up for next week!
Leftover jambalaya today! All natural peanut butter and banana sandwich with fresh fruit yesterday. We are on a roll here at Simple Food!
Today was a leftovers day… Pasta Puttanesca for me. Trying to get more creative with my lunches though!
This lunch pot is adorable. Today's lunch is repurposed leftovers (black eyes peas topped with mango salsa stuffed into red pepper boats), along with some steamed broccoli, a salad, and a snack of cashews and cacao nibs. I will blog about it tonight when I get home.
