Still searching for the perfect Valentine’s Day treat? Don’t resort to the drugstore box of chocolates just yet — here are 5 quick ways to show your Valentine that you care. (Bonus: They also happen to be healthy.)

DIY Valentine: Adorable Fruit Stickers (pictured above)
An apple, orange, pear or banana alone might seems like a lame Valentine’s Day gift, but when paired with these adorable printable stickers with messages like “You’re the apple of my eye” and “Orange you glad you’re my Valentine?,”  they’re sure to make your sweetie smile. Plus, they’ll think of you as they get their daily fruit allotment.

Chocolate-Dipped Clementines
If you want a break from the classic chocolate-dipped strawberries, try these simple dark-chocolate dipped clementines.  Top them with coarse sea salt for a satisfying, yet low-cal treat.

No-Bake Chewy Truffle Cookies
These chewy sweet cookies start with dried dates for a natural sweetness, instead of the traditional combination of milk and sugar, and then get mixed with some cocoa, reduced-fat peanut butter and ground whole wheat graham crackers for a quick, satisfying treat.

Mini Ice Cream Sandwiches
Turn some vanilla frozen yogurt and a box of vanilla wafers into mini ice cream sandwiches.  Dip then in mini chocolate chips or chopped, toasted almonds.

Ginger-Spiced Hot Cocoa
Warm, comforting, and delicious, hot cocoa is always a good way to show your loved ones you care. Ellie’s ginger-spiced version starts with low-fat milk, so it’s a healthy and delicious treat.

I bet that would be crazy good. Heck, I might just go try it now. If you want to give back, lots of people could use your support. Send a text message to help out. There are hundreds of numbers at text donate.
