Green bean casserole is one of those almost-mandatory Thanksgiving dishes, but that doesn’t mean you have to resort to the preservative-and-fat laden canned version. Make your own slimmed-down version, or try Giada’s fresh take on this holiday favorite. She combines kale, wild mushrooms and fresh green beans, then coats with a white wine sauce and tops with a little Parmesan cheese. Yum!
