This week we asked you to share with us your favorite fresh summer drink recipes. You answered our call with some unique drink concoctions made from seasonal ingredients. We can’t wait to sip on these delicious cocktails this weekend!
“We enjoyed a CSA grown rhubarb slush + homemade lime vodka + ginger ale last weekend” – @patiencebug, via Twitter
“Basil and grapes!! Ice, fresh basil, grapes, simple syrup, vodka, dash of soda. Mull it together! Sooooo good!!” – @camiekarma, via Twitter
Watermelon and The Gin Stevie Cocktail: This summer-fun drink from Cocktail Buzz combines seasonal watermelon, made into watermelon sake ice cubes, with gin, basil and spearmint leaves for a tasty cool beverage.
Classic Bellini: This recipe requires few ingredients and effort but tastes perfectly sweet and refreshing on a hot summer afternoon. We place fresh peach puree at the bottom of a Champagne flute then pour Prosecco into the glass to create this beautiful bubbly beverage.
