Parmesan Herbed Orzo
Orzo is one of my kid’s favorites. The rice-shaped pasta cooks up in boiling water in about 10 minutes. This “dressed-up” version weighs in at 260 calories, 6 grams of fat and tons of B-vitamins per serving. Enjoy it warm and use leftovers as lunch with a salad or sandwich.

    Is there whole wheat orzo/risotto, or a whole wheat alternative that would work as a substitute in orzo/risotto recipes?

    There is whole wheat orzo available. “Rice Select” is one company that makes it.
