On tonight’s Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off, for the first time ever, four celebrities competed in the finale for the title of RvG Champion and the prize of a $50,000 donation to the charity of their choice. After six weeks of honing their skills at a variety of cooking challenges, which included Medieval meals, Hawaiian luaus, supermarket product marketing, game-day foods and selling from a hot dog cart, the final four entered their most-difficult challenge yet. The celebrities were tasked with cooking a three-course meal for seven of the most-discerning celebrity chefs — and it all happened on a boat with one of the most-cramped kitchens. But the challenge wasn’t complete until they performed a presentation of their choosing. Who would show the judges that they could both cook a cohesive dinner and entertain effortlessly? FN Dish has the exclusive interview with the winner.
You’ve watched all season long as eight celebrities have cooked, competed, won and lost on Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off. Now with just four celebrities remaining, the Season 3 finale, Monday 9|8c, will determine the one who will be named the Rachael vs. Guy champion. On Team Rachael there’s Florence and Penn, and on Team Guy there’s Tiffany and Herschel. Who do you think has what it takes to win it all? FN Dish breaks down the MVPs.
On last’s night’s Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off, the celebrities got to set up their own hot dog carts at Luna Park, right on the Coney Island Boardwalk. The challenge was more fun than anything else, but time constraints did have everyone hustling to make enough to serve hoards of customers. Tiffany, though, was the lucky winner of the Round 1 french fry cook-off, earning 10 extra minutes to cook her Jamaican-inspired hot dog. In the end, only one celebrity won MVP this time (immunity was off the table), and one went home.
It’s off to Coney Island on Monday’s upcoming episode of Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off, which has the celebrities cooking on the boardwalk in two challenges. First, a french fry-off will determine who gains an advantage in the second challenge, which involves iconic New York hot dog carts. In a sneak peek photo from the episode, mentor Rachael stops by to help Florence cook up some fries. The two share a moment that has them completely cracking up.
Who do you think cracked up whom? And what could they be laughing at? Does Florence have a funny tactic that she’s willing to employ in order to win the advantage? It sure looks like they’re having fun times at the fryer. Maybe it’s an inside joke?

Taking risks was the name of the game on last night’s Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off. As the celebs entered a sports arena for their game-day foods challenge, they knew to expect some serious competition, but what they didn’t know was that there would be some big rewards. Like last week, one celebrity from each team would be rewarded with MVP status, but this time, those MVPs would also gain immunity from elimination in a second round of cooking.
In the first round, the celebrities made their most-creative interpretations of chicken wings. Penn, on Team Rachael, won MVP for his Chili Wings, and Herschel, from Team Guy, won MVP for his Mongolian Kickin’ Wings — repeat wins for both. That left Tiffany and Ice, from Team Guy, and Florence and Judy, from Team Rachael, up for elimination. For the second round, Guy tasked them with making elevated stadium food. Unfortunately one celeb’s dish was found to be a bit too much.
On Monday’s upcoming episode of Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off, the celebrities cook a game-day feast in a sports arena with judges Josh Elliott from ABC’s Good Morning America and Alex Guarnaschelli from Chopped. Josh and Alex will be determining who the two MVPs will be — and for the first time, that means immunity from possible elimination in a second round of cooking. In a sneak peek photo from the episode, both Josh and Alex are watching the celebrity contestants live and on CCTV, but something that one of the celebrities does has both of them making faces.
What do you think Alex had to say? Is she comparing the competition to judging on Chopped? Did one of the contestants commit a culinary sin? And what’s with Josh’s smirk? Does he agree or disagree with Alex’s comments?
On last night’s episode of Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off, the celebrities entered Fairway Market in Woodland Park, N.J., for a challenge that involved cooking and creating their own food product to market to shoppers. The goal of the challenge, as Rachael and Guy emphasized, was for each celebrity to turn out a product that best represented his or her own personality. Once the celebrities were ready to serve, they handed out samples and vied for votes from shoppers, using any sales tactic that would work: Judy cracked Jewish mother jokes. Jake broke out the dance moves. Tiffany turned up the ’80s flair. And Penn talked up his food product like a pro salesman.
For the first time this season, an MVP was chosen from each team and a $2,500 donation awarded to each winner’s charity. Penn was named the MVP of Team Rachael and Herschel was named MVP for Team Guy. But unfortunately, that still meant one celebrity had to be sent home.
To celebrate season 3 of Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off, which airs Mondays at 9pm/8c, FN Dish is giving away this knife set by Guy Fieri to one lucky reader.
