On a special episode of Chopped, four teenaged chefs entered the competition to prove that age doesn’t matter when it comes to culinary talent. On the line was a $40,000 scholarship to The International Culinary Schools at The Art Institutes. Not to mention bragging rights to call oneself a Chopped Champion. Now that’s pretty cool for a kid still in school! The competitors ranged in age from 13 to 16, but it didn’t matter that they lacked the years of experience, because they made up for it in energy, ambition and a determination to win.
