Sara Levine is an editor at FoodNetwork.com and a culinary-school-trained home cook. She covers many of the network’s most popular shows (Food Network Star, The Next Iron Chef, Chopped, among others) for the website – a great gig for someone hopelessly addicted to reality television. A few years ago Sara quit her magazine job to go to Le Cordon Bleu, which led to a stint in the Food Network Kitchens. Although cooking professionally wasn’t her thing, she adores writing about the people who excel at it and putting her own amateur culinary skills to work in her tiny New York City kitchen.

She tried to redeem herself in the Producers’ [...]

Robert’s latest mission brought him to Pappas, a family-owned Greek restaurant in Benicia, Calif. Feuding brothers, a drab interior and lackluster food were leading this business toward extinction.
