Thanksgiving: It’s a holiday that requires a ton of preparation and can cause some stress, but in the end, we all love it and the memories make each moment worth it. Whether you have your recipes in order for the big day next week or you’re looking for some inspiration, we thought we would share some of the best offerings out there.

In honor of Thanksgiving, we’re kicking off the first annual Communal Table on Food Network, an event that we opened up to the entire food community. The response was outstanding — it blew us away. Experts from the industry were excited to “pull up a chair” to our table and offer readers their favorite recipes for appetizers, sides, salads, breads, mains, desserts and cocktails.

We have to admit, it’s our favorite holiday of the year and we’re highly anticipating all of the delicious recipes and photos that we’ll come across on our favorite websites and blogs.

Now, in the last of his Good Eats series of cookbooks, he’s sharing his techniques in Good Eats 3: The Later Years, which contains a bounty of science-to-food facts, cooking tips, trivia and chapters devoted to foods like pretzels and pomegranates.

On a sometimes wet but beautiful fall weekend in New York City, for four days Food Network personalities traveled from far and wide for a cause: to end hunger. Now in its fourth year, this has been the focus of the New York City Wine and Food Festival, which brings together the best of the best and celebrates food in its finest forms: meatballs, burgers, fried chicken, sandwiches, tacos, desserts and more.

We caught up with Giada, Bobby, Paula, Duff, Anne, the Neelys, Marcela, Sunny, Jeff, Marc and Claire to talk about what this festival means to them, share some of their secrets and find out what they are excited about.

Hodge Podge Says Goodbye — The Great Food Truck Race

The second season of The Great Food Truck Race hit the road with eight new food trucks and a grand prize of $100,000. Every Sunday, we saw each truck pull out all the tricks to stay in the game. But, ultimately, one truck said goodbye each week. Sunday night, it was down to the final two: The Lime Truck and Hodge Podge.

Both battled multiple Speed Bumps, but it was the Truck Stop that changed this competition for good for team Hodge Podge.

America’s Favorite Food Truck — We Have a Winner

This season of The Great Food Truck Race has introduced America to eight delicious food trucks, including the two finalists, Hodge Podge and The Lime Truck. While the race on TV winds down, the race to vote for America’s Favorite Food Truck has ended and we have a winner: Chef Tai’s Mobile Gourmet Food Truck from College Station, Texas.

The contest to name America’s Favorite Food Truck started back in July with nearly 600 trucks and asked fans to nominate and vote for their favorite local truck. Over four million people voted and now, Chef Tai can claim the grand prize of $10,000 and the chance to appear on season three of The Great Food Truck Race.

We caught up with Chef Tai Lee to ask him about his passion on wheels, as well as what we can expect from him in the future. Not only is he a Texas A&M graduate, but he’s stuck to his roots and parks his truck around campus, serving the crowd he knows best.

1. Do not underestimate any of your competitors.
