October is here, which means Halloween is right around the corner, and this weekend the Food Network is full of sweets, tricks and plenty of treats. Saturday morning on The Kitchen the hosts put down the knife and share some no-carve pumpkin hacks. Plus, they share a recipe that will add a pumpkin spice flavor to hot chocolate, whipped cream, oatmeal and more! Then, Valerie Bertinelli has some friends visiting from Ohio, and she’s serving Three-Bean Turkey Chili and Sweet and Savory Cornbread Cookies while they play their favorite card game.

On Sunday morning, Guy Fieri is using his trip to Puerto Rico as inspiration for a feast that includes Pigeon Peas and Rice and Crispy Plantain Chips with Sweet Chile Dipping Sauce. Then American Idol winner Jordin Sparks is getting some help from Duff Goldman to complete her first professional cupcake order. After that, Bobby Flay is making one of his favorite brunch staples: crepes. He’s serving up sweet and savory flavors in his Cinnamon Roll Crepes and Ham and Cheesy Egg Crepes with Mustard Sauce.

Sunday night starts out with Guy’s Grocery Games Halloween Spook-tacular. During one round, the chefs must wear blindfolds and find a key ingredient to incorporate in their “Dinners to Die For.” Then it’s the season premiere of Halloween Wars with special guest judge Elvira, Mistress of the Dark. Next up, it’s the series premiere of Worst Bakers in America as Duff Goldman and Lorraine Pascale battle it out to see who can turn the worst bakers into the best. Then Cooks vs. Cons gets the baking treatment when professional bakers will battle some devious fakers on Bakers vs. Fakers.

The Kitchen kicks off the fall season with Sunny's Cornbread Stuffed and Fried Pork Chops, then cozies up with a recipe for homemade pumpkin spice latte mix. Nutritionist and author Joy Bauer reveals all the food trends for fall, and decorating pumpkins gets much easier with some no-carve pumpkin hacks. Plus, apples get the star treatment with Marcela's Apple Slab Pie, a Dutch Apple Pie Cocktail from Geoffrey and a slow-cooker caramel apple bar.

Sugar and Sparks: Keep It Simple, Sparks!

American Idol winner and hobbyist baker Jordin Sparks seeks help from cake master Duff Goldman while she tackles her first professional cupcake order for fellow American Idol veteran Brandon Rogers' album release party. After bringing in her two best friends to help her whip up 100 Orange Chocolate Cupcakes and 100 Strawberry Moscato Cupcakes, she soon discovers that it's not so easy managing a team and completing a huge order on time. Will Jordin find sweet success?

Sunday 12|11c

Whether they’re sweet or savory, Bobby loves crepes for brunch. He creates a variety of crepes, including Crepes with Smoked Salmon, Ricotta, Red Onion and Capers with Lemon Creme Fraiche, and Ham and Cheesy Egg Crepes with Mustard Sauce. Then, it wouldn't be brunch without a cocktail, so he adds some fizz with a Pomegranate-Ginger Spritzer.

Sunday 12:30|11:30c

It's frightful fun and games in Flavortown! First, the chefs must use tiny jack-o'-lanterns to grab all the ingredients to make a tricked-out treat. Then, things get weird as chefs wear blindfolds to find the key item for their "Dinners to Die For." Finally, the chefs can use only their bare hands to shop for a mummified dish, all while contending with a frightening trick-or-treater.

Sunday 8|7c

Six teams made up of an expert pumpkin carver, a cake decorator and a sugar artist go to battle to create mind-blowing Halloween-themed displays that capture an epic and terrifying clash between witches and warlocks. At the end of this battle, one team will be eliminated with help from special guest judge Elvira, Mistress of the Dark.

Sunday 9|8c

The new baking recruits quickly learn that boot camp is no cakewalk. To assess everyone's skill sets, Duff and Lorraine have the recruits bake something inspired by pictures and recipes from the internet. After witnessing the #bakingfails, the chefs go back to basics and teach them a delicious sugar cookie recipe. Who will be the best of the worst and who will crumble under the pressure?

British baking kingpin Paul Hollywood hosts while all-star judges Damaris Phillips and Buddy Valastro attempt to sift the bakers from the fakers in this twist on Cooks vs. Cons.
