Stay in this weekend with your favorite Food Network stars as they show you how to cook their tried-and-true favorites. First up on Saturday, Ree Drummond is fixin’ a Tex-Mex lunch complete with Rib Eye Quesadillas for Ladd and Cowboy Tim as they get to fixin’ the fence outside. Then head over to Valerie Bertinelli’s house, where she’s cooking up appetizers and mixing Vodka Cucumber cocktails for her Hot in Cleveland co-stars Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and Betty White before they head out to dinner. Keep watching for Patricia Heaton Parties, where Patricia’s throwing a ’70s-themed bash for some of her childhood friends.
Then on Sunday, head down to Flavortown Market for a new episode of Guy’s Grocery Games. Guy Fieri is shaking things up for the contestants with a few spins around the Food Wheel in every single round. After, stay tuned for a new episode of Food Network Star, where the finalists will have to handle curveballs thrown at them by YouTube sensation Hannah Hart and Modern Family’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson as they prepare a special tableside dining experience in an upscale hotel.
Ladd and Cowboy Tim are out fixin’ fences, so Ree Drummond is fixin’ them their favorite Tex-Mex lunch! There’s grilled steak packed into hearty Rib-Eye Quesadillas, spicy Perfect Pinto Beans and a Taco Ranch Side Salad. Then, for a sweet finish, a Skillet Apple Crisp.
Valerie Bertinelli and her Hot in Cleveland co-stars Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and Betty White meet at a restaurant every month to catch up, but this time Valerie’s invited them over for a few small bites first. On the menu are short-rib stacks, chicken satay and steamed veggies served with peanut sauce, and mini roasted potatoes with eggplant caviar, all served with a vodka cucumber drink before they hop in a cab to go out to dinner!
Patricia Heaton invites childhood friend Sally Block and comedian Andy Kindler for a groovy night of ’70s favorites. Patty goes retro all the way with her creamy, delicious Pistachio-Coated Cheese Log, followed by her far-out take on a party favorite: rumaki, done two ways. Then, kick back with a Harvey Wallbanger cocktail and a Cranberry Waldorf Salad that will never go out of style!
The chefs are taking a big spin around the market with three rounds of Food Wheel games! First, chefs spin the budget wheel to shop for their pork dish. Next, chefs whirl the color wheel and land on a high-end lunch featuring the color yellow and wild boar sausage. Finally, a turn on the high/low wheels sends them in search of Wagyu rib eye and popcorn for their spicy dinner.
First, the finalists try their hand at delivering a trendy remote food report for Entertainment Tonight hosts Kevin Frazier and Nancy O’Dell. Then, as the finalists take over the kitchen in an upscale hotel and prepare a special tableside dining experience, they are tested on how well they can handle curveballs thrown at them by YouTube sensation Hannah Hart and Modern Family’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
