Blueberry season is in full swing. Though you can finagle a pint or two year-round at the grocery store (at a price), there is nothing quite like a taste of these freshly picked, nearly bursting summer beauties. If you can stop yourself from scarfing them down by the handful as is, go on and bake them into summer’s most-showstopping treats, each one oozing with blueish-purple juice. Trust us, these recipes right here are the desserts your pints of blueberries are pining to become.

If you think making a pie is always a project, we’re here to prove you wrong. This pretty 4-Ingredient Blueberry Pie (pictured above) takes mere minutes to prep, but it’s certainly impressive enough to serve at a summer party.

Mash up two sweet classics — blueberry pie and cheesecake — for a rustic confection bursting with berry goodness: Food Network Magazine’s gorgeous Blueberry Cheesecake Galette. Layer sweetened cream cheese and a quick blueberry filling in buttery dough, then bake until golden for a summertime treat you can slice and serve to a crowd.

With over 300 sky-high reviews, Tyler’s fresh-from-the-oven Blueberry Scones with Lemon Glaze are the ones to bake this summer. The batter is studded with a cup of blueberries, and the scones themselves are finished with a bright lemon glaze.

An old-fashioned blueberry muffin may well be the poster child of blueberry desserts, at least for breakfast and brunch purposes. Blended with sour cream for added moistness, the batter for Ina Garten’s Blueberry Coffee Cake Muffins can be made in advance and baked come brunch time. And yes, these muffins are a dream with coffee (but that goes without saying).

When it comes to Tyler Florence’s top-rated Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake Bars, it’s all about texture. You’ve got the base (a crispy-crunchy graham cracker crust), the creamy filling (lemony cheesecake) and the finishing touches: juicy blueberries and a sprinkling of powdered sugar.

Combine juicy summer berries with another seasonal favorite — stone fruit — for a taste of Food Network Kitchen’s five-star, easy-to-make Blueberry and Nectarine Cobbler.

Put fresh summer blueberries on a pedestal (literally) with The Pioneer Woman’s recipe for Billie’s Italian Cream Cake with Blueberries. The plush layers of coconut cake are separated by fluffy coconut-pecan frosting and juicy blueberries.
