Now that spring has officially arrived, it’s the perfect time to try something new, like new recipes from your favorite chefs. On Saturday morning, don’t miss an all-new episode of The Kitchen, with meal makeovers that lighten things up for the new season, plus new five-ingredient recipes you can make any night of the week (like this take on chicken Parm). Katie Lee’s also sharing her secret recipe for making Alfredo sauce with cauliflower!

On Sunday morning, Nancy Fuller is cooking a hearty dinner with spinach and artichoke dip, and a pot pie that has cheesy drop biscuits on top. Later on Sunday, you can catch four chefs trying to create a lunch using only ingredients that start with the letter B on a new Guy’s Grocery Games. Then, Richard Blais and Haylie Duff join All-Star Academy as the home cooks attempt to cook dishes inspired by a genre of literature. And lastly, Alton Brown’s got an epic set of sabotages prepped for an all-new episode of Cutthroat Kitchen.

The Kitchen's co-hosts give favorite recipes a makeover for spring, starting with Marcela Valladolid's Kale-Potato Enchiladas Verdes. Then, learn tricks to make your food look as good as it tastes and simple tips to organize your kitchen. Get two five-ingredient dinner ideas: Sunny's Easy Chicken Parmesan and Jeff Mauro's easy Five-Ingredient Spinach Dip Quiche. Plus, fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi helps Katie make her Cauliflower Alfredo Sauce, and Geoffrey Zakarian makes a Rum and Smoke.

Professors Richard and Haylie test the cooks in the subject of literature. First it's dishes inspired by a genre of literature; then, dishes with assigned nouns, adjectives and verbs; and finally, a pass-or-fail round, where the remaining cooks must make dishes featuring ingredients starting with a P or an F.

Sunday 9|8c
