Then, watch as Food Network Star finalists prove to the judges that they can host their own live TV segment, which is a critical skill they must have to advance themselves to the finale. Finally, end your competition-filled night with some of Alton’s evilicious challenges on Cutthroat Kitchen. Tune in to see which chef has what it takes to survive the sabotages.
It’s all about seafood on this episode of The Kitchen. Geoffrey Zakarian has a paella recipe that is sure to impress family and friends, and the cast shows how to make two summer salad recipes and presents a guide for grilling fish. Nate Berkus stops by with a pop-up party, and then the hosts share tips for how they stay cool during the summer. Finally, the cast clinks glasses with a royal blush cocktail.
Giada De Laurentiis is preparing a poolside picnic to enjoy with her daughter, Jade. Her portable menu features Sweet and Tangy Orzo Salad with dried cranberries and arugula, Grilled Chicken and Broccoli Pesto Panini, and, for a sweet treat, Double Chocolate Brownies.
In this episode, join Daphne Brogdon as she makes hearty breakfast favorites for dinner, like her Olive Oil Fried Eggs with Spanish Pantry Sauce. She also whips up crispy hash browns with her sauce that gets a kick from paprika, and her Ham and Egg Fried Rice.
Four of the nation’s best young-gun chefs arrive at Flavortown Market and are ready to take on the aisles. First they are tasked with creating a fusion dish that combines two cuisines that are not typically paired together. Next, Guy rolls the dice to dictate what dishes the remaining chefs will make. Finally, watch as the final two battle it out as they prepare potatoes two ways, using ingredients from only two aisles.
In this week’s challenges, the finalists must learn that there are no second takes on live TV. Watch as the finalists cook a dish based on an assigned theme and then host their own segment of a live ensemble show. Then, The Kitchen’s Jeff Mauro and Katie Lee assist Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay in determining which finalist fell short in his or her performance and who must be sent home.
Guest judge Cat Cora is here to see which chef has what it takes to survive the sabotages. First, it’s all downhill for three chefs in a bobsled. Then, one chef ends up making more than Swedish meatballs. Finally, another chef learns that peanut butter and jelly is not quite child’s play.
