When it comes to showing someone how much you care about them, a home-cooked meal can be just the right gesture. This weekend, tune in for all-new recipes and episodes on Food Network, where stars like Ree Drummond and Trisha Yearwood cook for their family and friends. On Saturday morning, catch up with Ree as she makes Breakfast Biscuits for her husband and son, who are working on the ranch. Next, join the birthday celebration at Trisha’s house, where she and her friend Glenda are making fun finger foods like Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Bars for their costume party. On Sunday morning, Daphne Brogdon takes you around the world with an internationally inspired menu that features sticky ribs with a homemade banana sauce and a soba noodle salad.

The competition heats up on Sunday night, first with a summer celebration on Triple G. Watch the chefs channel their creativity as they turn cherry pie ingredients into a chicken dinner worthy of a $20,000 prize. Next, jump-start your patriotic festivities with Food Network Star, where the finalists cook for a 4 th of July cookout. Ree Drummond makes Breakfast Biscuits for her husband and son to grab on their way out to feed the cattle. Then, she makes Creamy Cheese Grits and whips up three make-ahead meals: Cajun Brisket, Cheesy Sausage Rigatoni and her Sleepin’ In Omelet.

The only person who loves a costume party more than Trisha Yearwood is her friend Glenda. To celebrate Glenda’s birthday, they’re cooking up a few dressed-up party foods. They make Warm Feta Dip with Artichokes, golden Shrimp Croquettes with Creamed Green Peas and, for a festive dessert, Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Bars.

After spending her vacation fund on household repairs, Daphne Brogdon skips the trip and creates an international menu at home instead. On her menu: fun sticky ribs with homemade banana ketchup and a soba noodle salad. She takes you to the tropics for dessert with her Coconut Rice Pudding with Mango.

Four chefs celebrate summer with a barbecue block party, but a roll of the dice picks the crazy items they must use in their dish. Next, the chefs have to improvise when their seafood spectacular comes with a weight restriction. Don’t miss the final challenge, where the chefs must turn an all-American cherry pie into a winning chicken dinner.

At a 4th of July cookout, the remaining finalists are split into teams of three that must work together to create a cohesive menu for a crowd of hungry families. Guest judge Bobby Deen joins mentors Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay to determine which teams are safe and which finalist will be sent home.

Guest judge Susan Feniger samples the chefs’ smoothie moves. Then, someone takes an elephant ride they’ll never forget. Finally, a chef raises the roof in an oatmeal cookie challenge. You won’t want to miss it!
