It's been seven weeks leading up to the finale on Sunday, April 19 at 9|8c. Ten home cooks from around the country entered All-Star Academy with the goal of leaving victorious and $50,000 richer. In the premiere only eight competitors were chosen for four teams led by mentors Alex Guarnaschelli, Bobby Flay, Curtis Stone and Michael Symon. And each week one home cook was eliminated, leaving just one per team.

But with the elimination of Team Curtis this past Sunday, there are only three home cooks left in the competition. Who will win? You'll have to find out by tuning in, but until then support your favorite by voting for them in the fan poll.

August

America's top home cooks take center stage in this high-stakes competition hosted by Ted Allen as these talented cooks battle for the grand prize of $50,000 and the title of America's Best Cook, as seen on Food Network's All-Star Academy, Season 1. Participant cook August Dannehl poses during the taping of All-Star Academy, Season 1.

August on Team Alex

Previously eliminated, August rejoined the competition when his mentor, Alex, won him back in a mentor cook-off. From the beginning August was someone to look out for, someone who didn't like to take "no" for an answer — sometimes not even from his own mentor. But despite their differences in opinion, Alex and August make the perfect team, and they've both grown in more ways than one.

Joseph

Joseph on Team Bobby

"The quiet guy who sails through any challenge that gets thrown at him" is the best way to describe Joseph, whose cooking has progressed by leaps and bounds, as has his confidence in the kitchen. The saying goes, "It's the quiet ones you have to look out for," and with Joseph that may actually be true. He and Bobby make a great team, because even in very few words they understand one another.

Vanessa

Vanessa on Team Michael

Michael purposely picked Vanessa because she was "on the edge of brilliant and crazy," which most wouldn't see as a positive trait, but mentor and mentee have been two peas in a pod from the first day. Vanessa's learned so much from Michael's coaching that she's almost become an extension of his hands; that's just how in sync they are. For Vanessa it's just a matter of focusing the crazy to bring home a win.
