    There is nothing better than fresh shucked corn!!! I try to eat as much of it as I can during the season but to ensure I have good corn in the winter, I process my winter supply early in the season!! Blanch it for 2 minutes, removed from the cob, lightly salt and butter and vacuum pack it and freeze. Yumm!!! Like fresh all winter long!!!

    BOTH.
    On the cob in the summer, on the beach and at festivals, fairs and picnics.
    On the plate during cold months and in soups, salads, eggs, tacos and roasted dishes.

    I love corn freshly picked on the cob. Nothing better slattered with butter. Can't wait for our farmers market to open.

    Just wish the companys who freeze it on the cob would use real sweetcorn instead of dent or field corn major difference in texture and taste. I'm a Nebraska farm girl and I know the difference.
