What to Watch: Triple D in Key West, Classic Comebacks on The Kitchen and RvG Veterans on Chopped

Guy Fieri in Key West

Start the weekend right with a trip down to Key West in a new Friday-night episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Guy takes in the best of the island, from seafood shacks to taco carts. Then, once you’re well-rested and ready to eat again on Saturday morning, watch all new episodes of The Pioneer Woman and Heartland Table: Ree makes a special meal for her son, and Amy gets the neighborhood together for a horseradish harvest. Later on, The Kitchen co-hosts bring back the classic iceberg wedge salad.

On Sunday morning tune in to Southern at Heart, where Damaris and her friend create the perfect snacks to accompany movie watching. Afterward, Giada cooks up some dishes inspired by L.A. hot spots. And on Sandwich King, Jeff makes pork sandwiches and a sweet version of pigs in a blanket. In the afternoon, watch a new Buy This Restaurant, where Keith helps a couple achieve their dream of restaurant ownership. In the evening watch all-new episodes of Food Court Wars, Cutthroat Kitchen and the Chopped Tournament of Stars, in which four former Rachael vs. Guy competitors make their triumphant return, this time in the Chopped kitchen.

This trip, Guy's checking out some awesome eats of the island — Key West, Fla., that is — from a funky little shack servin' up New England-style seafood with Island twists to a husband-and-wife team dishing up standout fish tacos just down the street. And a trip to this eclectic oasis wouldn't be complete without a stop at the teeny-tiny food cart crankin' out hundreds of Asian-Caribbean-fusion dishes per day.

Friday 10|9c

It's dinner for two for Ree and her son Bryce, so she's treating him to all of his favorite dishes. First up is Italian Meatloaf, then no-bake Mac and Four Cheeses served with a simple B-Man Salad of leaves with a great, punchy dressing. And finally, they're having some mom-and-son quality time with Yummy Slice-and-Bake Cookies and ice cream sundaes.

Saturday 10a|9c

Harvesting and processing fresh horseradish root is a tradition in Amy's community. Amy invites her neighbors over for a horseradish-spiked feast: Beef Stew with Red Wine, Mushrooms and Horseradish Cream, Roasted Shrimp Wraps with Homemade Cocktail Sauce and a sprawling Bloody Mary bar.

Saturday 10:30a|9:30c

Today on the Kitchen Sunny makes Bahamian Peas and Rice featuring bacon. The hosts share their tips for how to cook perfect bacon, and in DIY or Buy, Marcela makes ranch dressing and Katie makes guacamole. Plus, the ladies tackle the cold and do some sweet grilling as Marcela makes Grilled Pound Cake with Tequila-Soaked Pineapple. This week's Comeback Classic is the iceberg wedge salad, and the hosts share their unique recipes for the vintage favorite.

Saturday 11a|10c
Southern at Heart : “Movie Snacking”

Damaris and one of her best friends, pastry chef Terra Nelson, rent a movie from their favorite video store and decide to whip up the perfect snacks to munch on as they’re watching. On the menu: Hickory and Gorgonzola Popcorn and easy handmade Wild Mushroom and Cheddar Pork Sausages. And no one can resist their Homemade Candy Bars with Chunks of Cookies and Caramel.

Sunday 10a|9c

In this episode, Giada De Laurentiis puts her spin on three dishes from some of Los Angeles' most-popular tourist attractions: a Giada Dog at Pink's, Roscoe's chicken and waffles, and Knott's Berry Farm's famous boysenberry pie with a blackberry and raspberry twist.

Sunday 10:30a|9:30c

Jeff goes hog-wild with a roasted pork sandwich with piquillo peppers and a side of broccoli rabe with chorizo. The meal ends with Giant Pigs in a Blanket filled with sweet mascarpone cheese and topped off with apple chutney.

Sunday 11a|10c

Keith has wanted to be a chef since he was a boy and runs a catering business out of his garage in suburban Indianapolis. Married with two children, he has dedicated his life to supporting his wife, Raquel's, career and now she wants to help Keith make his dream of opening his own restaurant a reality. Together the two are risking it all and investing their nest egg in a brick-and-mortar operation, and they’re relying on restaurant broker Keith Simpson to help them find the perfect location for the American bistro concept.

Sunday 2|1c

Hickory, N.C., is the battleground where two groups of friends compete to win their own food court restaurant. The local community will help decide whether DeeDee and George's chicken salad concept, called The Mayobird, or Larry and H.C.'s wings and pizza restaurant, Wingzza, will take up residence.

Sunday 8|7c
Chopped Tournament of Stars: " Rachael vs. Guy! "

The four competitors for this second round of the Tournament of Stars are all cooking-competition veterans, alums of Food Network's Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off. But Coolio, Lou Diamond Phillips, Penn Jillette and Carnie Wilson have never stepped foot in the Chopped Kitchen. How will they do with beef tongue and microwaveable chocolate cake in the appetizer basket? Then the stars have a pizza party in the entree round, after they discover leftover slices in the basket. And with hopes of making it to the $50,000 finale, two competitors must make desserts using candy bars and banana chips.

Sunday 9|8c

Three chefs are forced to come up with new versions of BLTs when their main ingredients are taken away. Then a chef has to make ramen without noodles, and someone is slowed down when he or she gets a little puffed up while making a souffle.
