He may be a good host, and a good dad, and a good husband.

I've watched enough of his coaching on food network to realize he is a terrible instructor

he lost against anne burrell and Rachael Ray

He is all about flash and flamboyancy

sorry, he just doesn't have what Jaque Pepin has

  5. Marty Self says:

okay, since triple G, I'm not a guy fan anymore…

I thought diners, drive-ins and dives was cool because Guy was out interacting with real people who ran real businesses. To tell you the truth, I visited Cafe on the Route in Baxter Springs Kansas, which was a triple D place.
I wasn't impressed. The food was mediocre at best and the service was atrocious. I realized at that point I would never be one of those fans who visits every triple D site and raves about the food. The reality is, it all looks better on TV and I like watching Guy, but it's because I'm an artist and he has guitars hanging on his wall on his show "Guy's Big Bite".

It's nice that food network is trying to be trendy, but I realized in the last season of food network star that if you're a woman and you're prettier than Giada, you're not getting a show. She cut Stacy, and Stacy was far prettier than this Damaris girl they are featuring. What's more, she was much less presumptious. Damaris thinks she's the consumate southern girl who can teach anything… The only thing Damaris can do is look more homely than Giada.

Sorry food network, but you've dropped the ball.

You go out looking for a star, and you recruit scrubs.

    homely girls and big girls.

I actually like the big girls and girls like Alex Guarneschelli and Anne Burelle.

You go and give it to Damaris.

    phew

    Bring back Paula Deen.

It isn't like every white person in America NEVER used that word…
    please

  6. Marty Self says:

I'll probably get banned for that, and I'll tell all my friends not to watch food network. I'll tell them to watch Nadia G on cooking channel. I got real and realized what was going on…

    It's a good thing I'm a recording artist you've never heard of

Giada, stop being threatened by women who are more attractive then you. How old are you now????

    43 or something please……

Damaris, stop with the I can teach any man how to impress his mate,

maybe I don't have a mate and I am a better cook then you

    you presumptious thang

    …………………..

I know how to cook too you know, I have a family like Ree Drimmond.

We all have real visceral experiences

    we don't go looking

  8. Linda says:

I like Guy Fieri's shows, I like his style. The only negative I have is that while his guest cook is explaining what he is cooking, etc. Guy jumps in and tells them what they are doing and cooking as if he is better than they are. Overall I am a Super Fan.

  9. Scotty says:

If you guys don't know…Guy Fieri IS A CHEF. He knows what's good and what's not. But you have to remember…everyone is different, with different tastes. He works great as a host. That's my 2 cents….

  10. PATRICK says:

I saw a show where you and the owner were making pop overs. Where can I find that recipe?
