This weekend is packed with Food Network shows that are sure to get your cooking and competitive juices flowing. On Saturday, after watching new episodes from Ree and Trisha, tune in for Ina and Giada cooking together on Barefoot Contessa. Then it’s more Giada on a new episode of Giada at Home. Start off Sunday morning with Jamie Deen, cooking up recipes just for dads. Then Bobby Flay is cooking a menu of his favorite Southern barbecue.
Sunday night is where all the action lies with five hours of back-to-back competition, three of which feature Alton Brown. Start the evening with a battle that puts dreams of restaurant ownership on the line on Food Court Wars. Afterward, it’s a family feud on a special night of Chopped. Then, don’t miss the finale of Food Network Star, which offers a look back on the season, a tell-all and, of course, the announcement of the next Star. Immediately after, tune in for the premiere of Cutthroat Kitchen, hosted by Alton Brown. The new show combines a culinary competition with underhanded sabotage and scheming, aimed at winning no matter what it takes. Cap off the night with a new episode of Iron Chef America.
It’s a big day of cleaning up the homestead with a massive bonfire at the end. Ree is preparing an alfresco dinner of crispy fried chicken, Perfect Potato Salad, crunchy Colorful Coleslaw and individual Key lime pies to eat around the fire.

Giada’s making Mascarpone and Lemon Gnocchi with Butter Thyme Sauce and Ina’s baking an incredible liqueur-laced chocolate cassis cake for a girls’-night-in dinner.

You just can’t beat food that is stuffed! Giada is making recipes based on things that are stuffed: antipasto-stuffed chicken breasts, popovers with crab and mango salad, and stuffed peanut butter cupcakes.

Bobby Flay celebrates one of his favorite regional American cuisines in this Southern barbecue menu, which includes ribs with a root beer BBQ sauce, grilled shrimp with tomato-bacon-scallion vinaigrette, smoked sausage with green tomato relish and Mississippi mud pie milkshakes.

In Charleston, S.C., two teams of couples will battle it out to win their own restaurant space. Husband and wife Chevalo and Monique have put their family’s future on the line to turn their love of burgers into a food business. Topher and his fiancee Kacie hope to start their lives together as newlyweds by opening their own pizza restaurant. In the end, only one team will see its food court dream turn into reality.

In a Chopped first, two pairs of brothers compete to see which chef family prevails. In the first round, the competitors must come up with oodles of ideas for noodles. In the entree round, the judges watch eagerly to see how the three plates of steak and cinnamon rolls will turn out. With family pride and bragging rights on the line, the last two chefs must make desserts from a Greek pudding and a Japanese candy.

The results are in, as America has voted to determine who will be the next Food Network Star. Before the winner is revealed, the finalists are back in the studio to tell all and view never-before-seen footage from the season. Bobby, Alton and Giada each share their favorite moments during an emotional look back at the remaining competitors’ journeys to the finale. Then, suspense rises as the time comes to reveal the winner.

In this unpredictable episode of Cutthroat Kitchen, pocket knives and thievery turn this turkey dinner into a not so “Thanksgiving.” Watch to see which chef gets burned when they’re forced to make an edible French toast with burnt bread. And finally, one chef gets their hands dirty when they have to make a lobster roll without utensils.
