Take an Exclusive Video Tour of The Shed

by in Behind the Scenes, Shows, August 3rd, 2013

More than just a barbecue joint, The Shed is an experience, full of unforgettable people, live blues jams and, of course, a seemingly never-ending supply of saucy ribs, pork, chicken and brisket. You’ll get to see firsthand the work that the Orrisons — the first family of Mississippi Barbecue — put into making their business run smoothly when they share a sneak peek of their upcoming series, The Shed, tomorrow at 10pm/9c.

Before then, however, FN Dish is giving fans the first look at The Shed and an exclusive opportunity to hear from Brad and Brooke, the brother-and-sister founders of The Shed. Click the play button on the video above to get an insider’s look at the property’s junkyard, Brad’s never-before-seen outdoor office and a glimpse inside The Shed’s kitchen, where Hobson— the pit master — has prepared nearly 1 million pounds of barbecue.

Tune in Sunday at 10pm/9c to catch a sneak-peek episode of The Shed, then watch Monday at 10pm/9c to see the season premiere.

This is a horrible show. I'm really surprised Food Network would try something like this. Seems like they are trying to create a 'food' Duck Dynasty. At least Duck Dynasty is funny. Watched once but that was enough. No more for me.

Get Paula back, FN is so stupid for firing her and this show just proves it.

I have to disagree with many of the posts here; I enjoy watching a close, functional family and their friends have a good time bringing joy and good food to their guests. So much of what we see and hear these days celebrates dysfunctional, reprehensible behavior. It's a relief to spend 30 minutes watching people who treat each other with respect and genuinely care for one another. As Mama Shed said in the most recent episode–it's all about having heart and putting your heart and soul into what you do. I'll take a second serving of that any day. It's ironic that there's such a widespread hue and cry over the dearth of family values, yet when a program comes along that celebrates a family with values and commitment, it becomes an easy target for the haters. And what in the world does any of this have to do with Paula Dean? Thank you FN for this breath of fresh air.

A family with values? PLEASE!!! If they had "values" they would have had a little more empathy than firing the whole Mobile crew without notice..saying "Just go get a job"

Watched this for the third (an FINAL) time 8/12. You lost me at "rock, paper, scissors". I forced myself to stay around for the first round of "auditions". Puullleeeze !!!

http://youtu.be/4z1VqQOmeXs Please watch the video. This is what Food Network is supporting. You were better off sticking with Paula.

The link didn't work but its a youtube video entitled The BBQ. Its a news interview with order Brad discussing how he closed an area restaurant without notifying the employee. The kicker is throughout the video Brad is laughing about the whole situation. It is just sickening to see his reaction the closing.

Have actually been to The Shed down South and have to say I never saw any such stupid behavior. Can't stand all this fake reality – made for TV stuff! Please get rid of this type of show!
