Summer Dessert Showdown: Ree’s Peach Crisp vs. Trisha’s Blackberry Cobbler

A hint of maple syrup gives Ree’s easy peach crisp an unexpected flavor twist. She tosses it with the peaches before baking and also reserves some for a maple cream sauce to drizzle over the warm crisp.

Trisha’s double-decker cobbler layers a blackberry-and-sugar mixture with strips of biscuit-like pastry. “The last time I made this, I didn’t have time to make homemade pastry, so I used store-bought refrigerated roll-out pastry shells and cut them into strips. It worked great!” says Trisha.
