Food Network Kitchens' Cookie ChallengeIt’s time to momentarily set aside your plans for the beach and put on your party hats for a mini-holiday in July. As Food Network starts preparing content to ensure your holiday season is more delicious than ever this year, Food Network Kitchens are dying to know what holiday cookie you are dreaming of baking this winter.

Every holiday season, FoodNetwork.com launches a 12 Days of Cookies countdown with a different cookie recipe each day for 12 days. This year a brand-new, never-been-seen-before cookie developed by the Food Network Kitchens will also be added to the roster. Now is your chance to tell us what your dream holiday cookie would be. What kind of cookie are you dying to learn how to make this year? Or have been searching for the perfect recipe without success? If you could imagine a cookie becoming your new favorite, what would it include?

Comment below and tell us what new cookie you are dreaming of for this holiday season. We will deliver the feedback directly to the pastry masterminds in the Kitchens and anxiously wait to announce what they create. Maybe it’s a new chewy and chocolatey treat. Looking for a gluten-free version of snickerdoodles? Perhaps you are interested in a nutty superstar that includes peanut butter, toffee and almonds. Take this opportunity to add your input, and your suggestion could be the one that sparks the Kitchens’ interest.

I think it would be nice to have a Mexican chocolate drop cookie. Mexican chocolate (used to make hot chocolate, traditionally), is loaded with cinnamon. Making a Mexican chocolate drop cookie would be something new and interesting to have during the winter.

I'd love to see a healthier cookie — maybe something like a shortbread, that tastes as great as a rich buttery shortbread,

A pumpkin cookie with nuts and some sort of dried berry. Then made into a sandwich with a cinnamon cream center.
