This mother's day I am actually not going to be seeing my mother as we just recently moved to Michigan and my family is in Virginia. :( Normally, we would all get together and grill out for my Mom so she didn't have to cook and then for supper, we'd go to my grandmother's where we'd all get together and bring a dish or two to celebrate Mother's Day (my grandmother cooks Sunday dinner every week for any of us that can come, so on Mother's Day, we cook for her so she doesn't have to)! I would love a set of these cookbooks, as I need new recipes and ideas for my family, and so I can help my husband out and do more cooking!

I am going to call. My mom means everything but lives far away. I am a chef and she loves when I cook

I won't be able to see my mom this mothers day, but I talk to her on the phone every day. She can't move around too well and doesn't cook much anymore. If I could be with her I would make her stuffed cabbage rolls. When I was a child that was one of my favorite dishes that she used to make us…I want to return the favor. Thanks mom, for all of the love you poured onto us.

I'm making my mom handprints of her first grandson. It's been a 13 year prayer for us and her :)

Luckily, I still have my 86 year old mom, and cook for her a few days a week since she still lives at home alone. So for Mother's Day, we are going to a Mother's Day Brunch so we can all celebrate!

Unfortunately my mom lost her battle to cancer so I will be cooking for my amazing 90 year old Grandmother. Her favorite dish is chicken parmesan with homemade garlic bread.
