Mother's Day Cookbook GiveawayIf you’re starting to think of the perfect Mother’s Day gift for the mom in your life, FN Dish is about to make it easier for one lucky reader. The editors have collected several cookbooks from superstar moms and Food Network chefs, and Food Network has bundled them together for a giveaway. Whether you keep them for yourself or gift them, this is the ultimate literary treat.

We’re giving away a collection of cookbooks from Food Network chefs, featuring:

Marcela Valladolid’s Mexican Made Easy
Gina Neely’s The Neelys’ Celebration Cookbook
Ree Drummond’s The Pioneer Woman Cooks

Don’t forget to prepare Mom an unforgettable meal, too. Nothing says “thank you” like a homemade meal: breakfast in bed, a casual brunch, a relaxing lunch or a special dinner. Get Mother’s Day recipes on FoodNetwork.com.

You can buy them all at FoodNetworkStore.com now or enter for a chance to win all of them. To enter: Tell us in the comments what you’re making the mom in your life this Mother’s Day. We’re giving away this collection of cookbooks to one lucky, randomly selected commenter.

You may only comment once to be considered, and you don’t have to purchase anything to win; a purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Odds depend on total number of entries. Void where prohibited. Only open to legal residents of 50 U.S. states, D.C. or Puerto Rico, and you must be at least 18 to win. For the first day of the giveaway, all entries (answers) must be entered between 3:00 p.m. EST on April 22 and 5:00 p.m. EST on April 29, 2013. Subject to full official rules. By leaving a comment on the blog, you acknowledge your acceptance to the Official Rules. ARV of each prize: approx. $100.00. Unfortunately my mom lost her battle to cancer so I will be cooking for my amazing 90 year old Grandmother. Her favorite dish is chicken parmesan with homemade garlic bread

Unfortunately I'll be working Mother's Day……so hopefully will see my Mom (who is 91 years young) afterwards, maybe for dessert. (She LOVES sweets ;))

I'll be making Veal Scallopini and I'll also make fresh pasta too

I will be making my mom a traditional Jamaican dinner. Curry goat with rice and peas. The rice and peas are long grain rice and kidney beans made with coconut milk(other seasonings as well). I will make homemade carrot cake for desert and some other side dishes like yuca fries (https://plus.google.com/u/0/115360504592641443999/posts/GXxwaH8aVnj) and sweet plantains. My mother's hard to please with food. But she loves coffee.

So, I plan to treat her with a nice well made cup of coffee, and for someone's who mostly grazes on instant stuff (I prefer the home Batista approach) this is a treat, as she's not very attentive in the kitchen to make herself.

That said, it's for reasons far too personal to touch on here, out of respect for both of us.
