I couldn't believe the judges chopped Nadia G in the first round! She's one of the best new chefs on The Food Network and simply because her food slipped off the plate, she got disqualified. What are you guys thinking? Nadia is so much more talented than some guy who makes poorly done sandwiches, some guys movie-star husband who makes mediocre dishes whoever else was on that show. Too bad, judges..You're failing your audience and displaying your own inadequacy. Shame on you!

I love Nadia! She is off beat and looks like a Ed Hardy diva, but the gal is a skilled chef! Sorry she got chopped so early on.

Isn't it funny that when one of the contestants took a swig of cream soda right from the can that no one said anything and the judges all ate it and he did not get chopped for it. Yet, if some unknown chef once did something similar; he did take a swig of whiskey from the bottle and put it in the food he was serving, no one ate it and they had something to say about it. And he got chopped for it. I notice too much crap on these cooking shows that the chefs that have their own show do, and no one mentions it. When they get on other shows, THEY definitely have something to say about putting a spoon in the food after they taste it with the same spoon. WOW, they need to look at themselves first. However, I feel the same way that Dalton feels about Nadia G…she was great, but no one noticed…Are these shows fixed or what!!??

  3. Laverne says:

Can you please get 4 African American chefs to compete on chopped at some point?

  4. Annia says:

I love Nadia G. She is so corny, in a good way, but can certainly cook. I find myself laughing at her corniness & yet in awe of her skills in the kitchen. It breaks my heart she got chopped, then what's more can my poor heart take, when the following week, Chuck, one of my fav chefs also the first to go. Is there any justice in this cooking world??? Also, I would like the judges to get off their high horses & go easy on the contestants. Otherwise, there will be more Durian on their plates next time!

I would really like to see more of chef Robert Irvine. He is very talented. Monday night is a waste because all that is on id 'drive ins diners and dives'. We need a variey. Chef Irvine would be great.
