    Sweet Tea…I drink it by the gallon. My fave southern FOOD…I think it would have to be pickled okra!

    Coleslaw. It sounds so simple, but if you there is SUCH a difference between North and South. I live in MD and even though we're technically "Southern" I can't eat Coleslaw from anywhere above North Carolina. It just doesn't taste right. Sweet Tea either, it's not really a dish, but that's also something that Northerners just can't seem to get right.

      I just came across a copy recipe of KFC's coleslaw. I love KFC's slaw and so excited to see a recipe. It has a perfect ratio of sweet and tangy. I had "real" sweet tea once in the south and I absolutely agree it is by far the best sweet tea ever-I think I drank six full glasses in less than thiry minutes. Just the right balance of sugar to lemon! :)
