Catch Sunny Anderson on Her New Show This Fall: Home Made in America With Sunny

sunny andersonJoin Sunny Anderson as she hits the road to track down the unsung heroes of the American culinary world: home cooks. Sunny travels across the country to discover the inspirational stories of the people behind the recipes, while learning a few tips and tricks of her own on her show Home Made in America with Sunny Anderson premiering Saturday, October 6 at 9:30am ET/PT. Whether Sunny tastes Grandma Williams’ authentic squash pie, which is the talk of Fayetteville, N.C. or Mary’s high-demand granola recipe, these homemade recipes tell a story, and each starts in the home kitchen.

This road trip will have Sunny traveling through Baton Rouge, La., to try a shrimp bisque family recipe, Oklahoma for award-winning barbecue brisket and Texas for the best home-smoked ribs in town. One episode has Sunny exploring her own stomping grounds in Brooklyn, N.Y., to find Carmen Rodriguez, a home cook turned business owner creating buzz with her unique cupcakes.

Tune in to this six-episode daytime series: Premieres Saturday, October 6 at 9:30am ET/PT.

    i want the cup cake recipes and dirty Steve wing sauce recipe also not very nice not to put recipes on the food net work page…….what's wrong don't want us to have the pleasure of making them…..

    Just finished making the wings. Couldn't find mango habenaro sauce so had to make it. Used bobby flays recipe….baked frozen wings at 400 for 20 min then seasoned them with s&p. Reduced heat to 275 and baked for 2 hours turning the wings every 30 min and basting with sauce. Turned the heat up to 400 for another20 minutes to crisp and then tossed in sauce…great wings!!!!

    Great show – my Optometrist had it running in his office. The segment on Dirty Steve's Wings brought the whole place to a standstill! Keep up the good work – I'll be nice and patient for the recipes. Looks like you have a hit on your hands; I can't wait to see the next show!

    I recorded the show. Here is the recipe:
    One part melted unsalted butter to 4 parts Hot Pepper Sauce.
    Brown sugar (3/4c)–Seasoning Salt–Black pepper–Cayenne–Onion powder–Chili powder–
    Granulated garlic ( about 2T. Of each )–Mango Habernaro Sauce. Stir well.
    Fry wings, toss in sauce
