I love lentil soup. I make so many variations, and I just can't stop making new ways. But by far my fav would be the classic, Lentil + Onions + Potatoes.

I have this blue dish that must have been handed down from my grandmothers house. It is always months before I see it, no real reason why, other than not matching any of the sets. Just a loner.

Old wine glasses, if you might consider those as a part of a set of dishes, please.. They have a painted Christmas Tree on them, very, very old pre-spode…. I have 16. When I was a young girl, I gave each of my grandmothers a set, over the Holidays each grandmother used their set and many fun times were had… not just drinking wine, but soda, juice & milk for youngsters too. Unfortunately both of my grandmothers passed away, but I was lucky that they were returned to me. I now share them with my family during the Holidays. Hopefully I can pass a set on to each of my girls as they hold a lot of memories, laughter and tales… and many more to come! Thanks for reminding me of my grandmothers and my life!

The green and white platters we bought for our wedding!

  10. Denise says:

I have a set of pyrex mixing bowls that were my grandmother's; every time I bake I use the big yellow one and think of her. The bowls are probably over 50 years old.
