I have these speckled bright yellow soup bowls that a neighbor made & gave me almost 40 yrs. (Think Yellow Fiesta ware that got in a paintball fight.). Kind of ugly now, but great depth/size for soups & stews.

I have some gold-edged dessert plates that I bought at an antique store. They're so pretty and they make any dessert look elegant!

I have a bowl that is a clear brownish color, with bubbles in the glass. It’s perfect for a serving bowl, mixing bowl, or salads. It was my moms and I liked it so much that she gave it to me.

  6. Oh I have so many…I am a tablewear collector (hoarder says hubby)! My fave plates are probably the Red and White 19th Century Johann Bros. Old British Castles. They have a warm patina that is so inviting!!!

We have an adorable pale blue and green teacup/small mug with small delicate flower drawings that my brother and I bought for our mom on Mother's Day that says "Blessed and Loved." We hope it reminds our mom every day when she drinks tea from it about how much our family love her and appreciate her every moment.

I have to say my favorite Dish set is my Grandmother’s Wedding China, she left it to me in her will. Been in my family for over 60yrs, and is only used during the holidays.
