And on Tuesday we’ll be hosting a chat with Robert Irvine on the Food Network Facebook page to talk about the 50th Restaurant: Impossible episode, which will premiere August 22 at 9p/8c. We’ll also be chatting about Wedding: Impossible, a special presentation that airs Saturday August 18 at 10p/11c and features Robert’s wedding to professional wrestler Gail Kim.

    Robert, how do you handle all the pressure on Restaurant impossible? And how long did it take you to know all those recipies from the top of your head?

    Robert or Kelsey: When you come across a recipe that calls for a red wine or a white wine, and they don't tell you which make to use, what would you revert to? Say for example, doing fettucine/chicken, or if you were doing a beef dish. I'm not a wine expert, and I don't know what to use when the recipe calls for a wine, and doesn't explain what kind of white or red to use. Any advice?

    Robert, why did you abandon Dinner Impossible? It showed far more of your “total” skills than Restaurant Impossible. WAS THAT ANOTHER “BRAINSTORM” BY BOB & SUSIE??? I’m betting it was. Those two idiots have to go!!!

    When recipes call for wines or vinegars with grapes in them can they be substituted, with something else or removed from the recipe.As my wife is allergic to grapes. Many recipes use these ingredients and its hard to make them.

    Has anyone ever compared you to Gordon Ramsay before? It seems certain people prefer Gordon over you because of his constant swearing, smashing plates when food doesn't meet his standards, etc. How do you react when someone compares you to Chef Ramsay?

    What is the fastest dinner that you make? I need help. I get home after 6:30 and normally dinner isn't hitting the table until 7-8 PM. I have a lactose intolerance eater and she's doesn't eat chicken. Crockpot isn't the best. Some of the meals have to hold until some of the kids get off work around 10 PM.
