3 Days to Open: Melt Mobile by Sarah De Heer in Shows, July 20th, 2012

When Bobby Flay arrived at Diana and Darlene’s Melt Mobile food truck in Stamford, Conn., he wasn’t sure if this venture would ever take to the road — especially since the team had just three days until the opening. These two best friends quit their jobs to pursue this dream, but after mortgaging their homes, they were left with almost no money to open their business with. Before Bobby could consider the task complete, he needed to help the team fix these six crucial issues: organization, food knowledge, wait time, expediting, food quality and packaging.
Bobby left his mission saying that he felt Melt Mobile was “a well-oiled machine.” Is it still running that way? Has Darlene and Diana’s friendship withstood all the stress of opening a business? We checked in with Melt Mobile to see how things are going a few months after their visit from Bobby. Click play on the video below for a 3 Days to Open update.

Wish I could see the updates on my iPad…
Works fine on my ASUS Transformer Prime!! lol!!
I agree with you 100% I am appalled at all these cooking show where no one is wearing hair nets!
It is unsanitary!
Most chefs in most restaurants do not wear hairnets. They also use their hands without gloves unless they have an injury. For many fine cooking techniques, there is simply no other choice.
We get things late in Canada . . . just watched the episode and it looks like the video no longer exists – can't see it in IE or in Firefox, the message that comes up says "The requested video cannot be found." Please, please PLEASE post text versions of everything!!! Or better yet, go back to putting updates at the end of the episode!!!
None of them seem to work. I have a feeling they didn't really update them lol.
fix your fickiin' site and quit wasting my time. Loved the show, couldn't wait to "check on mobile melt"….. hate your attention to detail from a social media perspective. And I hate wasting my time.
Too bad the video doesn't work, would love to see what kind of food they are making.
Terrific work! That is the type of info that should be shared around the web. Shame on the seek engines for now not positioning this post upper! Come on over and discuss with my web site . Thank you =)
seems a great place.. I'll give it a try..
Think the show idea is interesting … Found the melt mobile show too much on the problem stress and not enough on the solution/happy. Just a suggestion to rebalance.
