She believed GZ was the strongest competitor. She was hoping to eliminate him.
I believe she took the instructions of the challenge seriously and judged on Risk over taste – a steak salad less risky than a tuna jerky souffle. This was a terrible thing to do to any contestant, and Anne clearly did not want to do it.
