The battles are heating up on The Next Iron Chef: Super Chefs and it is only the second week of this all-star competition. Sunday night’s challenge brings the nine remaining rival chefs to the ballpark to transform classic baseball stadium eats into cuisine worthy of the ultimate stadium — Kitchen Stadium.

In this sneak peek shot, Chef Anne Burrell takes a quick breather during the challenge. Will her hard work pay off with a home run dish to present to the judges, or will she strike out against her opponents?

Before you tune in this Sunday at 9pm/8c to watch Anne in action, we’re challenging you, Next Iron Chef fans, to write your best captions (tastefully appropriate, please) for this moment in the comments below.

Who’s your favorite rival chef so far? Cast your Fan Vote up to 10 times per day.

I was only watching the show for,Chef Robert Irvine. Now he gone I will not be watching it no more.Robert has a great talent and a wonderful attitude.I dont think he should have got kicked off.

    • Gene Breeden says:

Agree with you Irvine Is the best chef. Symon needs tocheck his linage. Irvine used peanuyts in every dish. not just sprinkle them on top

  2. Pam says:

ANNE BURRELL is my choice to be The next Iron Chef..She has it all..looks..talent and personality

Come on judges, let's be fair. MC should have been booted, not Robert. Making pasta by subbing peanuts for pine nuts – not much of a Kitchen Stadium offering. His arrogance is so annoying. Anne B is just too out there – and she is not that great in the kitchen. I have tried to watch her show but she annoys me with her comments and hair!

    • Tina says:

I agree Anne is annoying. As many times as I 've seen on chopped where a Chef is admonished for tasting with a utensil and then putting it back into the food she is guilty!! On the NIC she licked a spatula while making ice cream. Her commentary during her show regarding her food and calling to it "as my lovely" seems more like bedroom talk and it makes me wonder… clean it up! That kind of interaction with food does not make me want to continue watching.

i was watching this show only for Robert Irvine and now he's gone i am not going to see this show ever again in my life…

  5. Gene Breeden says:

Symon is jealous of Irvine. You Know this is falling on deaf ears. I'l not watch The Next Iron Chef or the Iron Chef America again. And Jus Is this Judy Joo or the other Food writer, He can't cook so this is a contest for chefs lte other chefs decide.

  6. Terry Miller says:

NOOOOOO!!!!!!! Anne, there's something VERY wrong that you got sent home and Alex Guarn-a-attitude is still in the running for the Next Iron Chef. Were the judges sitting in a room with a serious gas leak?
That is so wrong on so many different levels. Alex should've been the first one axed in this competition.
    Keep on rockin', Anne.
