Fans Show Love for The Pioneer Woman With Launch Parties Across America by FN Dish Editor in Events, September 1st, 2011

It’s no surprise that Ree Drummond, better known as the Pioneer Woman, would have a strong following of Tweets during this past Saturday’s premiere show on Food Network, but fans took it one step further by throwing Pioneer Woman watch parties. Fans young and old gathered around the couch with delicious dishes of chocolate cake, macaroni and cheese, and complete breakfast buffets like @jenjenk enjoyed with her family (pictured above). Below, check out four more of our favorite watch party moments that were captured on Twitter.

@ashpags noshed on some of Pioneer Woman’s favorites.

@marlohalt toasted to Ree with morning toadies and iced coffee.

@lovefeast and #teamree celebrated the new show with doughnuts.

@emmyd23 celebrated with macaroni and cheese.

An attempt at damage control? You are FOOD NETWORK, folks! COME ON PEOPLE! Doesn't that stuff look icky to you? Obesity is rampant in our country. Shame on you for producing this mess that promotes a way of cooking that is incredibly unhealthy.
yea i agree with you but thats the way of people cooking.
Oh Ellie, come on. My ancestors ate this way for years, and all lived well into their 90's, it's about moderation and hard physical labor. You are right those who sit in front of a computer all day or are behind a desk probably shouldn't eat this way. Makes a great difference when you are active 6-8 hours a day.
Ever hear of portion control? Yep it works!
@marlohalt – The iced coffee looks yummy.
Congrats on your new show!
In the photo above it looks like you made an Egg-In-Hole which is one of your website recipes.
Looks great.
Yes, it is egg in the hole, but my kiddos call them toadies, we started making those when they were in elementary school, they are now, 21,19,18 and 15 but we still make them sometimes and reminisce.
macaroni and cheese look good but i wouldnt eat it
You are all a bunch of retards!
what the flipping heck is a morning toadie – egg in the hole?
disgusting looking food.
Well Gidget, is eggs, bread and butter, items that have been around hundreds of years. When my kids were little they thought the name toadies was fun, so we went with it.
Thanks, Karen… I love it, especially in the hot summer.. #Texas

I absolutely LOVE the aspect of family and fabulous food on Pioneer Woman! It's about time that a network this size is producing such a high quality show with good old fashioned values and good old fashioned food. THANK YOU FOOD NETWORK! Can't wait for the next espisode…………
